Day 24

I don't get it really.

Yesterday I ran, actually ran for me, at a 5.0 - 5.3 for 1.5 miles!! I also did part of it on an incline. I worked my way up to 2. Thats suppose to simulate running outside, which is actually a bit harder than on an incline 0 on a treadmill.
I did 100 situps and just a few reps on my arms.
For food I ate a half cup of left over ginger chicken in a lettuce wrap, 2 ww toast with a cut up plum tomato and 1 heaping tb of blue cheese and fresh basil. a plum, a pear, a palmful of peanuts and raisins, and again some ginger chicken in a lettuce wrap.
I gained 3 lbs.
What the hell?
I guess I need to realize that its not really about the scale numbers, but rather the fact that I know I am getting healthier by working out?
But I really want those numbers to drop!!!
Maybe I am eating too much fruit?
The point of my diet is that I don't want it to be so much as a diet, but rather a lifestyle change. I know portion sizes. Deck of cards, palmful, softball size, etc. I love fruits. But I heard they have too much sugar if you want to lose.
Im trying to eat an all natural diet. I do not want processed food. I know Bread is. I have a bread maker, I should make my own.
I am trying to eat meats and veggies and no boxed anything.
3 pounds tho!!!!!??????
How is that possible.
Ok, I need to just concentrate on the exercises and not the scale.
Right?
