18 miles in 6 days

I have really kicked butt lately!!
Im so proud of myself!
On Friday I ran 3 miles. My pace was between 4.5 -5.0. Which, if you remember, I am 5'2" so that is a good jog for me.
Saturday ran the same route. Sunday, Monday, Tues, and Wed too!! I have run 18 miles so far this week!
I got a new iphone, so I put a gps on it to see how far I was running to the end of the neighborhood, and there and back is 3.1 miles.
Im not going to lie and say this has been easy.
About 1/8 of mile into the run, I start to think, "this is hard, I should slow down and walk a minute to catch my breath." But I push myself. Then after about 1/4 -1/3 of a mile I get into a breathing rhythm and the next thing I know I have run to the half way point. Sometimes I think, I should slow down, but I push thru it and then I think I'd feel guilty if I did walk at that point. And I think, if I have done it before I can do it again.
Its like all these mind tricks I have to use to keep the momentum up.
Today it is raining, so I will use my treadmill.
I did buy new running shoes. Nikes. I could of bought better ones, but my hubby decided he needs new running shoes, even tho he has yet to run with me, or even a mile on the treadmill, but with both of us buying new shoes, I took the cheaper than I wanted ones. Not that they were cheap, $70, but on the lower end of the good running shoes. Hubbys cost 80. I wasn't all that pleased, but maybe now it will get him up and out running with me. Then it will be totally worth it. Then we can both get healthy. I 'd really like that.
If I keep up my pace I should be at my ultimate goal weight, 125 the middle of May.
If I get much skinnier than that I lose my boobs. I was looking at an old pic of when I weighed 110 and I had no boobs!! I like having curves, so 125 is a good weight.

Im back

Damn it. Its been too long since I have written.
I did good up until we left for Daytona.
For 6 days I ate healthy. I didn't eat any junk food. Pretty pleased with 90% of my food choices.
I didn't exercise there, but we walked all over the place and rarely set down.
Then I got sick when we got home. A chest cold that I am still fighting.
I haven't gained any wieght, but haven't lost either.
So today Im kicking in the butt again.
I have the 5k coming in April and I need to get there.

I also need new running shoes. The shoes I have are so old that I don't even know how old.
8 years? 10 Years? Crap!
I also need a running bra. My bras hardly fit as it is since I have lost wieght, and they certainly do not give my any support running!

10 more to go. gotta get on it again!!!
